Y Magazine Cover - Water

Brigham Young University's Brand & Creative department hired me to create the cover for the Winter 2022 publication of the university's quarterly alumni magazine.

The main theme of the cover was "hope for the future" and food scarcity. Since water is essential for life and growing food, I felt that using actual water to create the lettering was an appropriate solution.

What I provided: Sketches, sketch revisions, custom lettering design, lighting, styling, tactile lettering, shooting, retouching, and editing.
